James Campfield a native from Frisco and a blackjack player is keeping his fingers crossed and hoping that his luck will actually be with him to give him success in the chosen field. So it is proved that even the top players need a lot of luck to win and succeed in the game. James joined the Winstar Casino’s “The Split” a Blackjack event after one of his friends received an entry chip and he passed it to him.

James has gained a chance to proceed to the final event which will take place on 16^th Aug, 2008. He is among the 28 fortunate players who will get a chance to participate in the final event starting with 1000 hopefuls. He also got a chance to be exposed by the television apart from getting a chance to win $2 millions. This event will be telecasted as a reality show by either the channel ABC or ESPN and will be hosted by Boston Rob and Michele Merkin named as “The Split” which is supposed to be start in June 2008. It is the game which was played by Campfield since he was 14 years old.

He disclosed that his wife Amy is very happy and excited when she heard about this big break and also nervous about it more than him. Campfield has participated on 11^th April, in the 2^nd of the 5 one million dollar mega events (monthly) at the Winstar Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma. In his event the top six players from each section will get random cards and the players with the smallest card picks another participant in the top to challenge. 

And the losers will be aggrouped with a group of other losers and out of them only one person will get a chance to participate in the championship. The winners of this event will be taken for a shopping spree and will get an opportunity to visit the wine facility.
